Recently posted on the Berklee Music Blog: the story of Jarbas Agnelli’s viral video where he created a composition based on the pattern of birds on the wires.

As Agnelli writes, “Reading a newspaper, I saw a picture of birds on the electric wires. I cut out the photo and decided to make a song, using the exact location of the birds as notes (no Photoshop edit). I knew it wasn’t the most original idea in the universe. I was just curious to hear what melody the birds were creating.”

This is truly inspiring.  Now, if we consider that the that the image is ukulele tab (as opposed to a staff) and alter the rhythm, how will it sound?

Thanks for sharing that, was lovely to hear. There’s something quite special to me about nature influencing music.
