Cigarbox Ukulele Resources

Thanks to Humble Uker has posted some links to Cigar box guitars that are great fun to read and check out the images. On the site pictures, I see someone made a dulcimer from two uke bodies put together.  Monday Ukearist says he will be making a biscuit tin uke soon.

When I became interested in making cigarbox ukuleles a couple of years ago I had found three helpful resources.  Kathy Matsushita’s experience in building a cigarbox uke, Samuel’s 1910-1920 uke plans, and I rented John Mayes’ DVD on how to make cigarbox ukuleles.

Of course there are unlimited resources out there. From listservs, bulletin boards, and blogs you will find a wealth of info on cigarbox guitars. And all of them are fun to check out and read.
