Azalea Ukulele: Strumming the Sounds of Spring

Azaleas are in full bloom

I haven’t been writing as much on the blog because there’s a fair bit of work, you know work, this time of year.  So much of work seems to be on the computer. When I get a break I like to go outside.

The sunshine, new green on the trees, vibrant azaleas in full bloom and pleasant temperatures make it wonderful to be outdoors.  When I build ukuleles the noise of the sander or saw scares the birds away. But when playing ukulele, the carolina wren and mockingbird stop by to sing to my strumming the sounds of spring.
