Play music and listen …

Another stumble onto an interesting blog called fearlesss. This particular post presents an interesting poem and analysis of the relationship between the musician and the listener/sometimes critic.  A thoughtful analysis.

I will admit I clicked on this post out of many because of the string instrument, a lyre, pictured with it.  I wondered what the minimum number of string would be to create a range of music and songs.  Looks like it would be five, at a minimum.

  1. Ukulele, which has 4, is more than adequate. In China, the ehrhu (sp?) has three strings, and they shred on that.
