Bee-uke-ti-ful: On her way to perform Rimsky-Korsakov’s Flight of the Bumblebee

When the azaleas bloom (a couple of weeks ago now) I usually take my camera out for a workout.  I was focusing on the azaleas, but my automatic focus chose something else.  Not until I brought the photo into my computer and looked on a larger screen did I realize this was no ordinary bee.

Perhaps she was in flight on her way to perform “Flight of the Bumblebee” with an ukulele orchestra such as the Langley Ukulele Ensemble?  Hear their rendition below.

Or play the song yourself.  Here is a version of   Flight_of_the_Bumblebee I downloaded a while ago from John Pan’s site ukulelezoo which now appears to be gone.
